The Kaneshiro Blood Runs Deep in my Veins

Yesterday's schedule:

7:30PM _ finish work

7:50PM _ arrive at 24h fitness

9:00PM _ head over to safeway to get groceries

9:40PM _ get home

10:00PM _ wash rice and set

11:00PM _ cook fried rice

11:20PM _ eat

1:30AM _ wake up after having fallen asleep on the floor while reading

2:00AM _ sleep

I think next time, I'll make sure I have leftovers ready to eat when I get home next time I work out.

Life has been good and busy, though! Work is a learning experience every day - either I'm in the "alright! I am learning a lot today!" mode or the "man, I have no idea what the heck I'm doing" mode. And the occasional times when I'm doing something that I actually already know how to do or learned previously.

I know words can be boring so I'll get to the good stuff: pictures!

The food wasn't special but I just felt like taking pictures. Fried rice with portuguese sausage, mushrooms, apples, egg, garlic, and brown rice + rosemary.

My humble room. Rent isn't too bad and for a 8 minute bike ride to work - compared to sitting in traffic 30-45 minutes a day each way to work - I can't complain at all! My room isn't big enough for a bed so I set up the futon before I sleep haha.

The couple who I'm renting from have a 10 month old baby girl. Cute! I think I've learned how to differentiate between when she's actually crying and when she just wants attention. 今の英語が分からなかった人へ:僕の子供じゃねえよ!(笑)。部屋を借りてる人達の子供なんです。

The view from the balcony.

I have people to break with here in Hawaii!!

Our nabe from the JETAA (JET Alumni Association) Nabe Taikai. For more pictures, click here. Somehow, it won.

Need to start sketching again

Here's a sketch I did in San Francisco.

And after I wrote this, I decided to draw today so here's one from earlier. Brush pens are funnnn

And in other news, Hawaii did not get hit by a tsunami today fortunately! Here's some pictures of all of the boats hanging out off shore.
